I purchased a paper today. Yep, an actual newspaper, the New York Times. Being a Chicagoan, I normally get the Chicago Tribune on Sundays (took advantage of one of those Groupon-like deals) but recently I let it go. I am a original Kindle owner and I still love it. I will be getting one of the newer ones and passing the old to my mom and I am considering getting a Kindle Fire simply because I would love an iPad but can’t justify the price. I’ll most likely pick up my subscription then. But buying the paper today made me think about the future of the “newspaper” and how I feel about the concept that maybe one day there may not be any “paper” newspapers.
